Dizziness with PPPD: Get out of the dizziness trap!

If the dizziness persists for months, a vicious cycle quickly develops: Out of fear of the symptoms, people begin to avoid movement, supermarkets, or crowds of people.
ㅤ
But the problem with PPPD (persistent postural-perceptual dizziness) is no longer the original trigger, but a misadaptation in the brain:
ㅤ
👉 Your nervous system is stuck in an alarm state or in a cycle of fear avoidance.
👉 Our brain is extremely plastic and adaptable – but we need to give it the chance to learn that normal stimuli are not dangerous.
👉 Avoidance behavior is counterproductive here because it falsely signals to the brain: „The dizziness is a danger!“
ㅤ
In this video, I explain to you why the first step to improvement starts in the mind and how you can break through the alarm state of your brain.
