The anatomical BPPV model has been specially developed for teaching and explanatory purposes to clearly illustrate the symptoms and the individual steps of the repositioning maneuvers for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV).
With this model, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo can be realistically understood and demonstrated in the right or left vestibular organ – ideal for teaching, patient education, and therapeutic training.
The model shows the inner ear with the cochlea and the three semicircular canals with otoliths, making the movements and processes in the vestibular system during BPPV clearly visible. The semicircular canals are transparent, allowing you to see precisely how the otoliths fall into the utricle’s vestibule. In addition, a cupula is integrated into the canal, illustrating that movement is only possible in one direction.
An elegant stand not only provides stable support but also highlights the delicate anatomy of the inner ear – perfectly suited as an appealing teaching and presentation model.
The BPPV model is a valuable tool for
Teaching and training in anatomy, ENT, and physiotherapy
Demonstrations of positioning and repositioning maneuvers
Visualization for patient education
Research and training in the field of vestibular rehabilitation
The model is available as a right or left inner ear, as well as a pair, and can thus be individually adapted to specific teaching or demonstration needs.
