The Advanced Course in Vestibular Rehabilitation is an integrated, comprehensive training program designed for healthcare professionals who wish to deepen their expertise in the anatomy, physiology, pathology, diagnostics, and therapy of the vestibular system. The course provides a structured and cohesive curriculum covering the essential clinical and scientific aspects of vestibular medicine, enabling participants to competently recognize, evaluate, and treat vestibular disorders at an advanced level.
Cursusinhoud:
Throughout the program, participants systematically build their knowledge of anatomical and physiological foundations, pathophysiological mechanisms, central and peripheral disorders, as well as state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. A strong emphasis is placed on practical, clinically relevant methods, including detailed oculomotor examinations, balance testing, and evidence-based treatment strategies for complex vestibular conditions such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and its atypical variants.
By combining theoretical insights, case-based examples, and clinical relevant diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, the course ensures that participants can directly translate their learning into improved patient care.
