
Your advanced course in dizziness and vestibular therapy
While peripheral vestibular disorders such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) are often well understood, central causes of dizziness frequently lead to clinical uncertainty. Yet it is precisely in these cases that a thorough understanding of neurological networks is essential in order to distinguish between benign and serious causes and to identify effective treatment approaches.
This two-day advanced course focuses on the mechanisms, assessment, and treatment of central dizziness and its impact on patients’ posture and movement. We examine the complex interactions between the vestibular, visual, and postural systems as well as the cerebellum in order to logically explain clinical deficits and treat them in a targeted manner.
The course combines an in-depth understanding of functional neuroanatomy with its direct application to clinical examination techniques and treatment strategies.

Day 2: Pathologies & Targeted Rehabilitation
Clinical conditions: In-depth exploration of common pathologies (e.g. stroke, MS, cerebellar disorders).
